Corey Wilson, affectionately known as Mr. C Dot, is a versatile millennial entrepreneur and professional musician with a passion for creativity and excellence. A graduate of Barbados Community College’s prestigious music program in 2011, Corey began his professional music career at just 16 years old. Over the years, his talents have taken him around the globe—from the Caribbean to North America and as far as China—performing as a keyboardist for Barbados’ Soca Queen, Alison Hinds.
Corey’s journey includes sharing stages with renowned bands like 4K and BreakingPoint. Locally, he has performed at marquee events such as the Naniki Jazz Festival, Hennessy Artistry, and the Barbados Music Awards. Internationally, his artistry has graced stages at events like the Heineken Regatta in St. Martin, Grenada’s Pure Festival, and China’s Caribbean Extravaganza by special request of the Chinese Embassy.
But Corey’s talents extend far beyond music. Holding an honors degree in Management and Marketing, he has a knack for blending business acumen with artistic passion. His 10-year career in insurance allowed him to hone his skills in marketing and creative production. As a Marketing Executive, Corey revamped his company’s advertisements with contemporary musical compositions and contributed to a wellness program through video production.

Corey’s journey into photography began with a simple smartphone—the S10+—and grew into a full-fledged passion. Encouraged by friends and inspired by renowned creators like Peter McKinnon, Corey invested in his first camera, the Canon EOS M50, and later upgraded to the Sony A7III with premium lenses and DJI Osmo Pocket 3. Backed by tools like Adobe Creative Cloud and Skylum’s Luminar software, Corey’s creative vision blossomed into C Dot Productions.
